Some say they will never marry. Some marry for all the wrong reasons. Some make it a wonderful commitment of a deep and abiding love in their hearts. Ultimately marriage is ordained by God, not man. Hebrews 13:3 says "Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery. "(New Living Translation) God’s plan is also one man and one women joined together as life long partners. (Not condemning, read the Bible "Romans Chapter 1. Not my plan God’s plan) This painting of the rose with the wedding rings represents a wonderful love I have shared with one man for over 30 years at the time of this writing. God’s plan always makes you the happiest. The two rings represent two separate lives brought together as one, represented by the one rose. When two people still want their own way instead of the two joining to do what is best for their marriage and the other, a petal falls. The rose is held intact by self-sacrifice, priorities, unconditional love, and the nurturing of the other by both partners. May we all bring marriage back to it’s highest standard. God’s standard. |
